Few Independent short films that we have produced

In the past 2 years, I along with my team have made couple of short films which were shown in different Indian Film Festivals. The list of the films are as follows:

1.“LOST IN TRAFFIC”, Short Film, 2008.

Producer:Sudipta Chakraborty

Duration: 4 minutes.

Format: DV Colour.

Synopsis:So many people in India die every day in road accidents. It`s a tribute to them and also a warning to those careless people for whom these occur. Inspiration is from the lunatics who sit along side the various roads of Kolkata and spend their lives.

> Selected & screened at the 3rd International Short Film Festival of India, Chennai, 2009.

> Selected & Screened by Short Film Makers Association of Eastern India at 15^th Kolkata Film Festival 2009.

2."MEMOIRS”, Short Film, 2010.

Duration: 12 minutes.

Format: DV Colour.

Synopsis:An old man sits in a small coffee bar and thinks about his past life. He recounts his past life, where he had very little money but had a small and happy family.Now time has changed and it hurts him a lot.He has all the time and money in his life now, but he is alone. All he has is just his MEMOIRS.

A salute to all the elderly people in this world who sacrificed so many big things in life so that their children grow up to be successful and well settled in life. But when the time comes for the children to look after their parents, all they do is, send money to the lonely old people from a far away land.

But considering that at least their child is happy and settled in life, do the elderly people complain about their loneliness to the society or simply live with the loneliness?
